American Buildout covers the intersection of Data Centers, energy and power, finance, and Main Street. In a market estimated to be worth as much as $6 trillion in the coming years, few other areas of commerce, technology, and politics are poised to impact all areas of American life.

The founder and editor of American Buildout is Ed Moltzen, a veteran journalist who has covered politics, government, and technology for more than two decades. In addition, he spent almost a dozen years working in county government on Long Island, including on infrastructure and local government issues.

American Buildout is a relaunch and expansion of his earlier newsletter, The Buildout.
